Sigma lifts PharmX stake to 10% at $0.145 a share

What's the deal? PharmX Technologies has completed the final step of its strategic alliance with Sigma HealthcareDealroom has a profile for this one. Sigma will acquire an additional 6.66 million shares at $0.145 each, building on an initial subscription of nearly 60 million shares that gave it about 9.1%.

The terms: The new shares will be issued under PharmX's existing placement capacity. They do not alter any other terms of the alliance, including Sigma's representation on the board.

What's the endgame? PharmX runs a pharmacy ordering platform in Australia and New Zealand, connecting pharmacies, suppliers, and technology vendors. Its platform processes around $20 billion in transactions annually and underpins eInvoicing and analytics tools.

Why it matters: The deal cements Sigma as a significant strategic investor and board participant. It reinforces PharmX's capital base and governance, and could strengthen its position in the ANZ pharmacy technology market.
