Try Dealroom →, an office technology firm serving businesses in Idaho, Montana, Utah, and Washington since 1936. Terms were not disclosed. Fisher's will keep its name and brand, and all customer contracts, pricing, and service agreements remain unchanged.

What each side does: Both companies offer nearly identical portfolios, including office equipment, managed IT and cybersecurity, managed print, unified communications, document automation, and physical security. Loffler, founded in 1986, is a privately held, family-owned business. Fisher's has been named a Best Place to Work in Idaho for 18 years.

Why now? The two firms have known each other for more than 20 years, and their geographies do not overlap. Combined, they now serve businesses across 10 states, from Wisconsin to Washington.

What changes? Ty Grigsby, president of Fisher's, will stay on as market president overseeing all Fisher's operations and will join Loffler's executive team. The deal follows Loffler's July 2026 announcement of a strengthened executive team and marks its largest geographic expansion in nearly 40 years.

In their words: "We are far more alike than we are different. This is a natural fit," said James Loffler, president and chief executive officer of Loffler Companies. Chris Taylor, co-owner and CEO of Fisher's, said the priority was finding "a partner who values our people, our customers, and our culture as much as we do."

The signal: The deal reflects continued consolidation among regional office technology and managed IT providers, with larger family-owned players absorbing peers to expand geographic reach without overlapping their existing markets.
