3E acquires Yordas Group, adding REACH registration to compliance suite
What's the deal? 3E, a global provider of AI compliance solutions for chemical and workplace safety, has acquired Yordas Group, a UK-based scientific consulting and regulatory content firm. Terms were not disclosed. Announced July 9, 2026, the deal joins two companies serving global brands in chemical management, product stewardship, and regulatory compliance.
What does Yordas do? Headquartered in Lancaster, with operations in Germany, Canada, Türkiye, and Japan, Yordas offers scientific services, regulatory intelligence, product compliance, and hazard communication. It manages REACH registrations for over 100 multinational companies under ISO 9001, 27001, and 14001 certified systems.
What's the endgame? The acquisition adds REACH registration services to 3E's product compliance set, enabling end-to-end chemical registration. Customers can now meet obligations under EU REACH, UK REACH, and regimes including Korea REACH, Türkiye KKDIK, China REACH, Ukraine REACH, and Taiwan TCCSCA. Yordas also extends 3E's reach into cosmetics, automotive, and polymers.

“With this combination, 3E will have the private sector's single largest group of chemical regulatory experts,” said Greg Gartland, chief executive officer of 3E. Jonathan Lutwyche, chief executive officer and co-founder of Yordas, called the deal “the natural next step” in the firm's nearly two-decade journey, adding that 3E's platform gives “our science and content the scale to reach more businesses worldwide.”
The signal: As global chemical rules multiply and diverge, compliance providers are consolidating regulatory expertise and content under AI-led platforms — betting that scale and breadth will define the market.
