Banyan Software takes majority stake in Swiss wealthtech WIZE
What's the deal? Banyan SoftwareDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → has completed a majority investment in WIZE, a Geneva-based wealth and asset management software platform. WIZE's top management retain their equity stakes and stay on to lead the company's next growth phase. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
What does it do? Founded in 2010, WIZE offers an all-in-one platform for external asset managers, family offices, private banks, securities firms and pension funds, spanning portfolio management, CRM, compliance workflows, order management and multi-custodian connectivity. Built by founder, CEO and CTO Cédric Baiker, it now serves 120+ financial institutions across 27 countries with a team of 60 in Geneva, Zurich and Singapore. WIZE was incubated within TeamWork Group before becoming a standalone company in 2022.
Why it matters. Banyan Software is a buy-and-hold acquirer that operates more than 100 software businesses across the Americas, Europe and APAC under a permanent-capital model. The deal gives WIZE a long-term software partner to expand into new markets and build deeper AI capabilities into its platform, while preserving continuity for its customers and team.
