Its AI platform helps healthcare organisations deliver care beyond the clinic, turning episodic visits into a continuous feedback loop between patients and providers.
How it works: Chiron combines electronic health records, patient-reported outcomes, wearable data, and AI-derived insights to build and refine personalised self-management programmes for people with long-term conditions. Using n-of-1 causal and predictive analytics, it measures how each intervention affects symptoms, quality of life, and clinical outcomes.
Early proof: A deployment with a chronic pain group, in partnership with Fibromyalgia UK, showed a 31% improvement in clinical outcomes. Chiron holds UKCA Class I medical device status and integrates with the NHS.
What's the endgame? Chiron is built as a multi-condition platform, with expansion into cardiometabolic health, gastrointestinal disorders, and women's health already underway. The company frames its tool as a self-management layer that works alongside clinicians, not instead of them.
"The future of healthcare lies in empowering people to take an active role in their own health," said chief executive officer and co-founder Carron Manning. She said the round lets Chiron "scale that vision" while giving clinicians insight to "improve efficacy, reduce demand, and extend their reach."
Where the money goes: The funding will support deployment across NHS Integrated Care Boards and Primary Care Networks, plus building the commercial and regulatory foundations for US market entry. Tatum Getty, founding general partner at THENA Capital, said Chiron is "exceptionally well positioned to become a global leader in patient activation and digitally enabled self-management." Arāya Ventures founder and managing partner Rupa Popat said the platform will "reshape preventative care" while "reducing pressure on health systems."
The signal: At £900K, Chiron's raise sits in the smaller tier of seed deals — a modest entry point for a clinically validated platform targeting the NHS and, later, the US. It reflects continued investor appetite for digital health tools that promise to ease strain on stretched health systems by shifting care between appointments.
