SOVA buys Verizon's top wireline agent UCX in its largest deal yet

What each side brings: UCX, based in Pearl, Mississippi, holds Verizon's Platinum Partner status — the highest tier — for wireline and wireless, with expertise in voice, data, provisioning, and contact center services built on the NICE Virtual Contact Center platform. SOVA has served as a Verizon Business Agent for more than 30 years, developing proprietary processes to streamline enterprise transactions from origination to service delivery.
What's the endgame? The combined company will offer enterprise customers and channel partners an integrated connectivity lifecycle management platform. The deal deepens SOVA's Verizon footprint and expands its reach into the state, local, and education (SLED) market.
Why it matters: This is Endeavor's third acquisition and its largest enterprise wireline agency deal to date.

The details: Layer 7 Capital served as investment bank for Endeavor, with Duane Morris as legal counsel. Endeavor is headquartered in Austin, Texas, and runs a connectivity platform paired with AI-powered managed services.
The signal: The acquisition reflects continued consolidation among enterprise connectivity agents, as platforms build scale around single-carrier ecosystems and bundle wireline, wireless, and contact center services under one roof.
