Survey Solutions buys Site-Eye in third deal since 2023 buyout

Site-Eye operates from a Brighton base and a head office in Hebden Bridge, near Halifax. Terms were not disclosed.
What each side brings: Survey Solutions offers land and underground surveying alongside measured building and drone surveys, delivered through an office network stretching from Glasgow to Yeovil. Site-Eye adds construction monitoring and media production expertise.
What's the endgame? The company said the deal "further strengthens its construction monitoring capabilities" and provides "an even broader range of services." What changes? Managing director Gareth Evans-McClave has stayed on with Site-Eye. He called the deal "an exciting opportunity" that "will enable us to build on our success while becoming part of a larger group that shares our commitment to quality and customer service."
David Lowe, chief executive of Survey Solutions, said Site-Eye is "a well-established business with an excellent reputation and highly complementary expertise." He added: "We look forward to welcoming the team as we continue to grow our business."
The signal: The acquisition marks another step in a private equity-backed buy-and-build strategy, with Survey Solutions folding specialist firms into a group whose offices now span Bristol, Coventry, Ipswich, Leeds, London, Manchester, Newcastle, Nottingham, and Wokingham.
