Who's involved? Founded in 2005, Retirement Solution Group offers plan consulting, plan design, fiduciary support, compliance services, third-party administration, and participant education. Alliant Retirement Consulting advises more than 1,000 retirement plans and holds $28 billion under advisement, serving clients from startups to Fortune 500 companies.
What's the endgame? The acquisition strengthens Alliant's retirement plan consulting, fiduciary, and third-party administration capabilities. "This acquisition reflects our continued investment in building a premier retirement and wealth business," said Amit Dogra, executive vice president and managing director of Retirement & Wealth at Alliant.
What changes for clients? Retirement Solution Group's professionals will keep serving clients from their current locations while gaining access to Alliant's expanded resources and national reach. "Joining Retirement & Wealth at Alliant allows us to expand the resources and capabilities available to our clients while preserving the personalized service and trusted relationships that have defined our firm," said Steve Scott, chief executive officer of Retirement Solution Group.
The signal: The purchase adds to Alliant's push to attract talent and resources across the US retirement and wealth market. As a majority employee-owned brokerage, Alliant continues to fold in specialist firms to broaden its nationwide advisory footprint.
