Battery-safety chip maker AmagicTech raises tens of millions of yuan, Jackery leads

What's the deal? Shenzhen-based AmagicTechDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, a Chinese chip designer focused on lithium-battery safety management, has raised tens of millions of yuan in an early-stage round. Portable-power company JackeryDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → (华宝新能) led the round, with existing shareholders Sunwoda (欣旺达) and enfound capital (启赋资本) adding to their stakes.

What's the endgame? AmagicTech builds chips that shift battery management from "passive protection" to "active sensing" — monitoring individual cells rather than whole packs. Its lineup spans three platforms: MagicFETs power switches, MagicAFE analog front-ends, and MagiCell cell-level sensors.

Where's the money going? The company will fund mass production of its MagiCell cell-level monitoring sensor, expand its MagicFETs and MagicAFE product lines, and push research and market development for commercial-and-industrial energy storage and automotive electronics.

Why these investors? The backers span the lithium-battery chain from end brands to cell makers to specialist capital. Jackery, which sells in more than 100 countries, said AmagicTech's chips reach "industry-leading standards" on performance, cost, and reliability, and that the two will cooperate on product definition and sales channels.

What's the traction? AmagicTech has six chip products at various commercial stages, with AFE chips already shipping in volume for micro-mobility, home, and portable storage uses. Its MagiCell sensor cuts costs 30% to 70% versus existing options and won a top prize at the 2026 China (Shenzhen) integrated-circuit summit.

The signal: The round reflects continued capital interest in China's "hard tech" corner — here, domestic substitution for battery-management chips as storage and electric-vehicle adoption climb. With strategic industry backers now on the cap table, AmagicTech is positioned as a candidate to watch in a segment drawing steady investment.
