Try Dealroom →, a material handling integrator based in Columbus, Ohio. Announced July 6, 2026, it is RMH's second add-on since the company partnered with private equity firm Rotunda Capital PartnersDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → in February 2025. Terms were not disclosed.
What each side brings: Iowa-based RMH provides turnkey automation, material handling, packaging, and industrial scale solutions, and has operated since 1936. Top Shelf designs custom material handling systems for manufacturers, warehouses, and distribution centers.
Why now? The deal establishes RMH's first regional footprint in central Ohio, a market president Ryan Howard called "a critical industrial market for us to establish a presence in." Top Shelf's customers gain access to RMH's robotics and packaging capabilities, while founder Tim Neroni stays on to lead the Ohio operation.
What's the endgame? RMH is building a national, end-to-end material handling provider by pairing regional integrators with its platform of engineering, technology, and MRO services. The strategy was already visible in its August 2025 purchase of Complete Solution RoboticsDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, which added robotics depth and a Mountain West footprint.
"Top Shelf is exactly the kind of team we look for as we build out the RMH platform," Howard said. The company says it continues to seek targets across robotics, conveyor, packaging, industrial scale, and overhead crane capabilities throughout North America.
The signal: Material handling and industrial automation providers are consolidating to offer customers integrated "under one roof" solutions. RMH's steady roll-up — from DAK Solutions in 2022 to Ohio now — shows how private equity backing is fuelling geographic and capability expansion in the sector.
