What's the deal? Hope CapitalDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → has renewed and increased its committed senior funding line from investment manager Triple PointDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → to £75m. The bridging and property finance lender will use the facility to diversify its product range and offer more flexible, bespoke finance solutions.

The step-up: The deal adds £30m to the previous £45m line — the second increase since the partnership began. It caps a trajectory that started with an initial £10m facility in 2018.

Why now? Chief financial and operating officer Kate Cowan said the facility "not only strengthens our loan book but builds on recent increases from other funding lines and further facilities in progress." The expansion arrives as Hope Capital positions for what it calls the next stage of growth.

What's the endgame? Hope Capital wants to broaden its offering and keep delivering bridging loans to broker partners and their clients. The senior line gives it more dry powder to scale originations.

Investor view: Ellis Diamanti, head of specialty finance at Triple Point, said Hope Capital's leadership "has consistently demonstrated strong underwriting discipline, deep sector expertise and a robust approach to risk." CEO Jonathan Sealey called the facility "a strong endorsement of our strategy, our track record, and the confidence placed in our business."

The signal: The expansion reflects a broader pattern of specialist lenders scaling up institutional credit lines to fund UK SME and property finance. For Triple Point — which has been building out flexible capital offerings, including a new funds finance strategy — the deal deepens its footprint in non-bank, property-backed lending.
