Autonom Services raises €30M in bonds at a cheaper 5.97% coupon

What's the deal? Romanian mobility services provider Autonom ServicesDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → has closed a €30 million private placement of corporate bonds, according to a report filed with the Bucharest Stock Exchange. It issued 300 bonds with a nominal value of €100,000 each, carrying a fixed annual coupon of 5.97%.

The terms: The five-year bonds mature on July 7, 2031, and are classified as sustainability-linked bonds. The coupon can rise by up to 0.3 percentage points a year if the company misses its sustainability targets.

Who's behind it? Autonom Services is controlled by brothers Marius and Dan Ștefan. The placement was arranged by a consortium of BRD — Groupe Société Générale, BT Capital PartnersDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, Banca Comercială Română, UniCredit Bank, and Raiffeisen Bank.

Why now? The issue continues Autonom's strategy of tapping local capital markets to fund growth rather than relying on bank loans alone. Early last year it listed a €30 million bond issue at a fixed 6.14% coupon — meaning the new debt prices cheaper, at 5.97%.

What's the endgame? In 2025, Autonom also secured €300 million in syndicated, sustainability-linked financing, one of the largest deals of its kind on the Romanian market. The company is positioning itself as an integrated mobility solutions provider.

The signal: A repeat sizeable issuance by the same issuer, at a lower coupon than its last deal, points to solid credit perception and growing depth in Romania's institutional investor base. It also marks the maturing local market for ESG-linked corporate funding.
