Why now? Founded in early 2025, Lexiang's cumulative funding has reached roughly 1 billion CNY in little over a year. The quick re-raise signals investor conviction in a crowded but still leaderless market.
What's the endgame? Alongside the round, Lexiang launched a home embodied intelligence brand, Zeroth, with plans for the Jupiter humanoid robot and the N1 home collaboration robot. It is pursuing a full-stack, in-house approach to "Physical AI" for household settings.
Where the money goes: Lexiang says the funds will support development of six core technologies, hiring, and expansion into global sales channels. It reports more than 30,000 robots on order and revenue up about 600% year on year in the first half of 2026.
What could go wrong? China's embodied intelligence and humanoid robot sector is heating up fast, with Xiaomi, UBTech, and Fourier all showing home humanoid concepts. Few players, however, have reached mass-producible, consumer-focused products — leaving execution and manufacturing as the real test.
The signal: The round shows internet and automotive capital, via Ant Group and Geely CapitalDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, extending upstream into home humanoid robots and embodied intelligence operating systems. In a market without a clear frontrunner, it reads as a strategic bet on where household AI is heading.
