What's the endgame? Founded in 2019 by Golam Sadeghnia, Oktogrid makes non-invasive, magnetic-adhesion sensors and AI software that monitors electrical transformers. The platform interprets transformer data to predict failures, recommend maintenance, optimise capacity, and estimate remaining useful life.

By the numbers: Oktogrid has close to 45 customers, including 12 utilities, and operates across three continents. It monitors more than 1GW of critical infrastructure, holds over five million hours of production data, and says its technology has caught 26 early-stage faults while freeing up around 8,600 hours of technical work.
