Luxonis lands $14M Series A to give robots eyes for physical AI

What's the endgame? Luxonis builds the perception layer robots and automated systems need to work in the real world. Its OAK devices bundle multiple sensors and on-device compute into one unit, paired with an open-source software ecosystem that lets developers deploy visual perception for automation.
Where's the money going? The funding will expand supply chain capacity and advance the OAK4 ecosystem, which launched in December 2025. Luxonis plans to grow its research, go-to-market, and engineering teams, and to launch new devices at accessible prices for industries including agriculture, defense, industrial automation, medtech, and warehousing.
Why now? The round arrives amid rising investor interest in "physical AI" for robotics and autonomous systems. Days earlier, Vention raised $110 million to accelerate its own physical AI deployment across manufacturing.
"After more than seven years building Luxonis with the support of friends and family, we're delighted to close our first institutional round," said chief executive officer Bradley Dillon. He added that the investors "bring a wealth of experience that will help us accelerate our already rapid growth."
The signal: Luxonis claims more than 60 Fortune 500 customers, 17 of the Dow Jones 30, and 6 million DepthAI downloads. Taiwania managing partner Richard Wang framed the bet as combining "Central and Eastern Europe's elite AI engineering and Taiwan's robust manufacturing with a U.S. go-to-market engine."
Founded in 2019 after a Kickstarter campaign, Luxonis now serves thousands of customers and runs offices worldwide.
