What does Forte AI do? Founded in 2024, the company helps audio engineers, producers, and studios cut time spent on repetitive mixing and production tasks. Its platform handles session organisation, stem exporting, and batch processing in music, plus the preparation of AAF and PTX sessions for film, television, and commercial post studios. It has native support for Pro Tools and Logic Pro.
What's the endgame? The investment will support product development and Forte AI's expansion from music production into audio post production. The company aims to grow across the global professional audio market.
Why it matters: The platform integrates into existing studio templates without requiring teams to change how they work. It runs on a proprietary on-device AI engine that analyses audio locally, so sensitive and unreleased sessions never leave the machine — a selling point for studios handling confidential material.
"Forte AI is addressing a major productivity challenge within professional audio production," said Alex Kemanes, managing director at Midwich Ignite. "Forte's intelligent automation technology has the potential to significantly improve efficiency without disrupting the workflows that professionals already rely on."
