The money will widen access to financing for micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises across the country.

Why now? KMF became a licensed commercial bank in 2025, after starting in 1997 as Kazakhstan's first non-bank microfinance institution.

It now serves more than 275,000 active borrowers through a nationwide branch network. Women-led businesses make up about 55% of its clients, many in rural and remote areas.
