Why now? SUEZ wants to secure liquidity in an uncertain geopolitical climate and prepare to refinance debt maturing in 2027.
The funds will also finance green capital and operating expenditure identified for 2024 and 2025, while extending the maturity of the group's debt.
"The success of this new green bond issuance confirms investors' confidence in the strength of the group's financial structure," said chief executive officer Xavier Girre.
