BCGE raises €500M in second euro bond issue

This is BCGE's second euro bond. Strong demand signals investor trust and confirms its reputation as a quality issuer, reflected in its Standard & Poor's rating of AA-/A-1+/Stable.

"This second euro bond issue attests once again to the trust investors place in BCGE Group and strengthens BCGE's funding base, which is essential to continue driving its growth and its contribution to the Geneva economy," said chief financial officer Frédéric Vernet.

The signal: With BNP Paribas — an established investment fund — arranging the issue, BCGE gains access to a deep European investor pool that few cantonal banks tap, underscoring how regional lenders are leaning on global partners to fund local growth.
