Founded in May 2026 by chief executive officer Jacinto Fleta and chief technology officer David Alarcón, Baker connects to each client's CRM and ad accounts. Its AI agents then run campaigns, generate creatives, build landing pages, and produce reports.
Why now? Baker grew out of Landing Bakery, a SaaS tool for ad campaign landing pages, evolving into a full-service model.
Fleta and Alarcón met at Factorial, where Fleta led growth and Alarcón worked as a senior engineer. Both join a wave of Factorial alumni launching their own startups.
The capital goes to three fronts: developing the agentic platform, growing the team, and onboarding mid-market and enterprise clients. Baker plans to hire sales staff and engineers with marketing backgrounds.
What could go wrong? Baker's bet is that AI agents do the bulk of the work, letting it add clients without growing headcount.
That promises margins above the sector average — but the model is unproven at scale, and only a few weeks into operations, it remains untested at any meaningful size.
The signal: Baker's pitch is that services can have the margins and scalability of software.
"Our vision is that service companies will have scalability and margins similar to SaaS," Fleta said. It is a thesis investors are increasingly testing as AI agents move from demos into day-to-day operations.
