Vivid Games taps €1M debt tranche from Gemini Grupė
What's the deal? Polish mobile game developer Vivid GamesDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → has signed an annex to its loan agreement with Lithuania's Gemini Grupė, unlocking a second tranche of €1 million in debt funding.
The money will back Vivid Games' development roadmap and brand expansion, including its flagship title Real Boxing 3.
Why now? The deal builds on an earlier agreement in which Gemini Grupė took a 40% stake in Vivid Games for PLN 5.23 million.
Chief executive officer Piotr Gamracy said the partnership was chosen for its ability to deliver timely financing and its experience in European distribution.
Vivid Games framed the move as a bet on private capital over public markets, citing the need for stable, long-term funding amid current market conditions.
What could go wrong? Debt adds repayment pressure, and Vivid Games is leaning heavily on a single investor that already controls a large minority stake.
The studio's growth also hinges on Real Boxing 3 landing with players — a risk in a crowded mobile gaming market.
The signal: The follow-on tranche shows Gemini Grupė, an investment fund that already holds a 40% stake, doubling down on Vivid Games as the breakout-stage studio leans on debt and a single strategic backer rather than dilutive equity to fund Real Boxing 3 and its wider roadmap.
