Axom lands $2.4M from Capricorn to scale predictive AI platform

What's the deal? Axom, formerly Ibex.ai, has raised $2.4 million from existing investor the Capricorn GroupDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → to fund its next growth stage.

The predictive intelligence company helps iGaming and sports betting operators boost player value through AI-driven decisioning.

Its platform integrates with existing CRM, marketing automation, and operational systems, delivering personalisation without forcing operators to replace current tech.

Why now? The technology was originally built inside the Capricorn Group to optimise its own gaming investments, where it lifted net gaming revenue.

That track record became the foundation of Axom's platform. The fresh capital will push it towards a fully autonomous offering.

It also funds expansion across two divisions: Axom Gaming, focused on iGaming and sportsbook, and Axom Engage, which applies the same intelligence beyond gaming.

The signal: By backing a tool it originally built in-house to lift the net gaming revenue of its own investments, the Capricorn Group is betting that a proven internal edge can become a sellable product — and the early-stage funding signals a play to extend predictive decisioning beyond gaming through the new Axom Engage division.
