Cleantek Industries secures $2M senior credit facility for international expansion

What's the deal? Cleantek IndustriesDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, a Calgary-based clean technology company listed on the TSX Venture Exchange, has secured a $2 million senior credit facility from a Canadian financial institution.

The funds will support international growth, working capital, and inventory, the company said on June 25, 2026.

Cleantek provides patented wastewater treatment and sustainable industrial lighting solutions, serving exploration and production companies across North America.

Why now? The new facility arrives as Cleantek executes a previously announced 60-unit HALO SE international sale, its largest project to date.

Alongside the deal, the company retired the remaining capacity under its previous asset-based lending facility, known internally as the "build loan."

"We continue to focus on growth, and we see that growth reflected quarter over quarter," said chief executive officer Riley Taggart.

What could go wrong? Cleantek flagged risks tied to regulatory approvals, capital market conditions, and operating outside North America.

Pursuing oilfield services opportunities in new markets also depends on securing qualified staff and equipment cost-efficiently, the company noted.

The signal: The modest $2 million facility underscores Cleantek's early-stage status, with the debt aimed squarely at executing its largest-ever project — a 60-unit HALO SE international sale — rather than broad expansion. For a TSX Venture-listed cleantech firm, leaning on a senior credit line over equity is a calculated bet that its North American track record can translate into international demand without diluting shareholders.
