Zeom raises R$15M pre-seed to launch in Brazil

What's the deal? ZeomDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, a London-based fintech founded by Brazilians, has raised R$15 million ($2.9 million) in a pre-seed round to launch in Brazil.

The round was led by Fabric VenturesDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, with accelerator Plug and Play and Madrid-based TritemiusDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → also joining.

Founded by Rafael Pereira, André Bastos, Bruno Maia, and Roberto Ono Filho, Zeom lets users convert reais to a global account instantly via Pix, then access international assets through a single iOS and Android app.

Investments start at R$50, with an international card accepted in over 190 countries and blockchain infrastructure underpinning the platform.

Why now? The capital pulls Zeom out of stealth mode, where it ran with a few clients, and funds its Brazilian launch and product development.

Pereira points to a gap in the market: an ANBIMA report found 36% of Brazilians invest, but mostly in savings accounts (22%) and fixed income (7%). Stocks account for just 2%, funds 5%, and digital assets 4%.

The company aims to reach 50,000 clients in Brazil by the end of 2026.

What could go wrong? Zeom enters a crowded field. Established global-account fintechs such as Nomad and Wise already serve Brazilian customers and are testing investment products of their own.

The signal: Lead investor Fabric Ventures specialises in fintech, blockchain, and digital assets, a profile that aligns neatly with Zeom's blockchain-based infrastructure and its bet on cross-border investing. With the firm's founders having backed Wise — now one of Zeom's competitors in Brazil — the round positions this early-stage startup against the very global-account players its earliest backers helped build.
