Eco Wave Power prices $4M registered direct offering

What's the deal? Eco Wave PowerDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, a Stockholm-based onshore wave energy company, has priced a $4 million registered direct offering with a single strategic institutional investor.

The deal sells 400,000 American Depositary Shares at $10.00 each — a 10.7% premium to the Nasdaq close. The investor also gets warrants for 300,000 more shares at $12.00 apiece.

Maxim Group is the sole placement agent. The offering is set to close on or about June 26, 2026.

Why now? Eco Wave wants the cash to fund global expansion and position itself as what it calls "the energy layer for AI infrastructure."

The company recently launched the first onshore wave energy pilot at the Port of Los AngelesDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → with Shell Marine Renewable Energy. It also operates Israel's first grid-connected wave energy station, co-funded by EDF Power Solutions.

What could go wrong? The raise is small, and a single-investor placement signals a narrow base of support.

Wave energy remains largely pre-commercial. Eco Wave is still running pilots, not at-scale plants, so its AI-power pitch depends on technology that has yet to prove it can deliver at industrial volumes.

The signal: As an early-stage company, Eco Wave Power is leaning on premium-priced equity raises rather than commercial revenue to fund its push from pilots to scale. Pricing the offering at a 10.7% premium to market — with warrants struck even higher at a 32.9% premium — suggests a single backer willing to pay up for the AI-infrastructure narrative, even as the underlying wave technology stays pre-commercial.
