Chicago Pacific Founders backs Attune to tackle healthcare's coordination crisis
What's the deal? AttuneDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, an AI engagement platform for healthcare, has raised a growth equity round from Chicago Pacific FoundersDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → (CPF), a private equity firm focused on value-based care.
The Chicago-based startup unifies electronic health records, care management platforms, and outreach tools into one system. It deploys automated, omnichannel engagement across the full care journey.
Why now? American healthcare spends an estimated $430 billion to $480 billion a year on coordination failures — operational problems, not clinical ones.
Care teams cannot reach patients often enough, and they rely on dozens of disconnected tools that do not talk to each other.
CPF, which manages more than three million lives across its value-based care network, says reaching patients at the right frequency is a persistent challenge. It is investing as an operator to scale its care models.
What could go wrong? Most AI platforms entering healthcare were built on general-purpose technology never designed for clinical, regulatory, and operational standards.
Attune says its platform is deterministic, fully auditable, and measurable to counter that risk. Still, deployment across complex provider systems is hard, and trust remains a hurdle in clinical settings.
The signal: The investment reflects a shift toward AI built specifically for healthcare's workflows rather than retrofitted general tools.
Attune's pitch is freeing nurses, physicians, and care coordinators from manual tasks so they can practise at the top of their licence.
The results back the conviction. Attune has outperformed human advocate teams on member reach and satisfaction, exceeding a Medicaid Health Risk Assessment target by 40% within three weeks of going live.
Across every deployment so far, it has been live within six weeks of signing. The capital will accelerate the platform's roadmap and expand its omnichannel capabilities.
