Waveium's platform lets companies build wireless performance into their products without needing radio wave expertise. It can predict how a system behaves in different environments in seconds.
Why now? As machines become the main users of networks, traditional wireless infrastructure faces growing demand.
Founded in 2024 by William Tärneberg, Aleksei Fedorov, Christian Nelson, and Nikita, Waveium builds on research from Lund University.
"We're building the tools that let businesses embed wireless performance seamlessly," said William Tärneberg, chief executive officer and co-founder.
The signal: The startup is targeting industries that rely on wireless connectivity, from IoT to industrial automation.
The fresh capital will go towards developing its platform and scaling operations.
"There are many different applications where the company's simulation technology can solve real problems," said Erik Larsson, investment manager at Almi Invest.
