It secures Enex's three-year industrial investment plan and ties pricing incentives to measurable ESG targets.
Why now? Enex specialises in systems built on "natural" refrigerants, and demand is climbing as Europe tightens environmental rules.
The refinancing funds four priorities: expanding production capacity, accelerating innovation, growing across European markets, and pushing into the fast-growing data centre cooling segment.
"This agreement is a strategic milestone for Enex Technologies," said chief executive officer François Audo.
The new facility, he added, gives the company "greater financial strength and visibility to execute on our three-year investment plan, and to accelerate the development of our natural refrigerant technologies in European and international markets."
The signal: Backing from a syndicate that includes state lender Cassa Depositi e Prestiti alongside Banco BPM, Deutsche Bank, and Banca Sella points to institutional confidence in Enex, a breakout-stage player in natural refrigerant HVACR. With debt pricing now tied to measurable ESG targets, the deal reflects how lenders are increasingly rewarding companies whose technology aligns with tightening European environmental rules.
