The deal also gives Lumenai access to Corpora.ai's knowledge base, one of the world's largest AI ecosystems. Together they aim to measure, develop, and deploy human capability at scale.

Why now? As AI agents increasingly work alongside employees, companies need to understand their people in ways machines can read.

Lumenai's measurement tool turns subjective traits — how people decide, collaborate, and adapt — into structured capability data benchmarked across workplaces. The idea: AI can only augment people effectively if it understands how they work.

The methodology, Human Capability Indexing, was built by founder and chief executive officer Antonia Manoochehri, who has spent her career writing assessment frameworks internationally, including across China.

"Traditional assessment is linear, focused on hard skills, CVs and qualifications," Manoochehri said. "As AI agents increasingly work alongside and even manage employees, organisations have to understand people in a way that AI can read."

What could go wrong? Quantifying so-called soft skills has long proved tricky, and many such systems risk feeling subjective despite the data.

Lumenai leans on its research division, Lumenai LABS, which peer-reviews and publishes methodologies before they go commercial. It draws on more than 30 years of assessment expertise.

The signal: Corpora.ai's backing pairs early-stage capital with corporate muscle, giving Lumenai access to one of the world's largest verified AI knowledge ecosystems rather than funding alone — a sign that strategic investors increasingly see workforce-readiness tools as core to large-scale AI adoption.
