Co-founded by Farah and elite marathoner Adam Clarke, the app pairs Olympic-level coaching with everyday runners at scale.
It also draws on Team GB athlete and coach Charlotte Purdue, turning decades of experience into personalised, adaptive training programmes.
"Securing this raise so quickly after launch shows there's real demand for exactly that," said Clarke.
What could go wrong? The running app market is crowded, with established rivals competing for the same users.
URUNN's edge rests on human coaching expertise, which is harder to scale than software alone.
The signal: URUNN's repeat backing from corporate investor 10XU just a year after its 2025 seed round reflects how athlete-founded fitness apps are leaning on elite human coaching to stand out in a crowded market, betting that personalised expertise can scale where software alone cannot.
