vibefam raises $1M seed to build an AI operating system for fitness businesses

Try Dealroom →, a Singapore- and New York-based startup building an all-in-one platform for fitness businesses, has closed a $1M seed round. The company offers a unified platform that handles scheduling, memberships, payments, customer engagement, and reporting for gyms and studios. It currently powers more than 700 fitness locations worldwide and serves over 500,000 end users — spanning Pilates studios, yoga studios, martial arts schools, dance academies, and boutique fitness brands.
"Many operators still juggle multiple disconnected systems to manage bookings, payments, customer communication, marketing, and reporting," said Serene Lim, co-founder and chief executive officer. "We're building a platform that brings everything together."
Why now? Fitness operators are moving away from fragmented tech stacks and legacy software in favour of unified platforms. Vibefam plans to channel the new capital into two areas: AI and embedded financial services.
In July 2026, it will launch Vibe AI, a messaging-native tool that lets members interact with fitness businesses through natural conversation — answering enquiries, recommending classes, completing bookings, and re-engaging inactive customers without adding admin workload.
The company is also building embedded finance features through a network of financial partners, letting eligible businesses access funding directly within the platform for expansion, hiring, or equipment. By using operational data already on Vibefam, it aims to cut paperwork and speed up approval times.
What could go wrong? The fitness SaaS market is crowded. Incumbents like MindbodyDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → and Glofox already serve large portions of the market, and Vibefam will need to differentiate sharply — especially as it expands beyond Asia. A $1M seed round is also modest, meaning the company will need to show strong traction quickly to raise follow-on capital.
Adding financial services introduces regulatory complexity across multiple markets, which could slow Vibefam's expansion plans.
The signal: The source article states the round was led by a Singapore-based family office, not by Hustle Fund or Ignite Asia — suggesting Vibefam's backer profile leans toward strategic, operator-aligned capital rather than traditional VC. That fits a pattern in Southeast Asian vertical SaaS where early rounds are sized modestly but paired with investors who can open distribution channels. With 700 locations already on the platform, the key metric to watch is whether embedded finance can turn Vibefam's software relationship into a revenue-per-client multiplier before incumbents like Mindbody layer on similar features.
