MYNK raises seed round to expand smart lifestyle product portfolio

What's the deal? MYNK Lifestyle Pvt Ltd, the parent company of MYNK Smart Devices, has raised $20M in a seed round at a $200M valuation. Founded by Divya Dubey and based in New Delhi, the company develops smart lifestyle products spanning health, wellness, beauty, and personal care. The funding will go toward product development, market expansion, and growing its smart device portfolio.

MYNK's flagship product, the MYNK Smart Ring, is already on the market and generating revenue. The company says it has seen strong traction and encouraging customer response.

Why now? The wearable technology market is booming, with smart rings emerging as a fast-growing category alongside smartwatches and fitness trackers. MYNK is capitalising on this momentum to expand beyond its first product into a broader range of devices focused on personal wellness and lifestyle enhancement.

The company plans to launch several new smart devices designed to integrate into consumers' daily routines — a bet that technology-driven wellness products will continue to gain mainstream adoption.

"This investment enables us to accelerate innovation, strengthen our product ecosystem, and bring a new generation of smart lifestyle and wellness products to consumers," said Dubey.

What could go wrong? The smart wearables space is fiercely competitive. MYNK faces established players like Oura, Samsung, and Apple, all of which have deeper pockets, larger R&D teams, and stronger brand recognition. Carving out a sustainable niche — especially in categories like beauty and lifestyle tech — will require differentiated products and effective distribution.

A $200M seed-stage valuation is also notably high, which could create pressure to deliver rapid growth to justify the premium.

The signal: This raise reflects the growing investor appetite for consumer health and wellness technology, particularly in India's expanding smart device market. The seed round's size and valuation suggest confidence in the category's potential, even as hardware startups historically face thin margins and brutal competition. Whether MYNK can build a defensible product ecosystem — rather than a single-product story — will determine if it lives up to the bet.
