What's the deal? Imkon VenturesDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → has invested $100,000 in Avtomato.uz, a Tashkent-based SaaS platform that automates business processes for retail and instalment-based businesses across Uzbekistan. The seed round backs a platform launched in April 2025 by Yuldoshboy Sultanov, founder of REVODealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, one of Uzbekistan's leading IT companies.

Avtomato.uz offers a modular system covering instalment sales management, customer scoring, inventory management, POS systems, workforce management, and marketing automation. It already serves more than 100 corporate clients and aims to reach 500 by the end of 2026.

"Uzbekistan's retail and installment-payment market is growing rapidly, yet many business owners still manage their sales operations manually or through disconnected tools," Sultanov said. The platform is designed to be affordable and scalable for companies of any size.

Why now? Uzbekistan's retail and instalment-payment sector is large but fragmented, still heavily reliant on manual processes. The gap between market growth and operational tooling creates a clear opening for a SaaS solution purpose-built for the region.

Sultanov brings deep domain expertise — he holds a PhD in computing systems, has worked as a software architect at AgrobankDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → and technical director at Asaxiy, and interned at Yandex. REVO, the company behind Avtomato.uz, employs more than 30 specialists across three offices and has delivered fintech and e-commerce solutions for clients in the US and Europe.

What could go wrong? At $100,000, the round is modest. Scaling from 100 to 500 clients — and eventually beyond — will likely require follow-on funding. Competing against cheaper manual workflows or fragmented local tools could slow adoption, especially among price-sensitive small businesses.

Avtomato.uz also plans to launch specialised solutions for at least three additional business verticals by the end of 2026. Spreading resources across multiple sectors early carries execution risk.

The signal: The deal reflects growing VC interest in Central Asian enterprise software. Imkon Ventures, a private fund led by Toxirjon Mirzajonov, focuses on pre-seed and seed-stage startups in fintech, B2B SaaS, AI, deeptech, and edtech — categories that signal where the region's investor appetite is heading.

As Muhammad Khalil, Imkon Ventures co-founder, put it: "We see the potential for Avtomato to become critical infrastructure for the entire sector." If the platform delivers, it could set the template for how retail digitisation plays out across Uzbekistan's broader economy.
