ennoo Rental secures €40M debt facility from Lendable

What's the deal? London-based impact investment firm Lendable has provided a €40M debt facility to ennoo RentalDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → (eR), a fleet rental provider and subsidiary of SafeDriver Group. The deal supports the growth of ride-hailing fleet operators across Germany.

The cross-border financing structure spans the UK, Germany, and Luxembourg. German law firm Luther advised Lendable on the German law aspects of the transaction.

Why now? This is Lendable's first investment in Europe. The firm, known for its impact-oriented credit platform in emerging markets, is expanding into developed markets — and Germany's growing ride-hailing sector offered an entry point.

The signal: The deal reflects two broader trends: impact-focused lenders moving beyond emerging markets into Europe, and alternative debt providers stepping in to finance mobility and fleet businesses that traditional banks may underserve. As ride-hailing continues to grow in European cities, the infrastructure behind it — fleet management, vehicle rental, driver services — is attracting more specialised capital.
