The company's platform consolidates pricing, catalogue, and campaign data across online marketplaces, then uses AI to automate decisions like repricing products, selecting promotions, and optimising catalogue performance. It already serves hundreds of sellers and brands including PhilipsDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, LindtDealroom has a profile for this one. Why now? Online marketplaces account for an ever-growing share of retail sales, and sellers face mounting complexity managing pricing, promotions, and advertising across multiple platforms. Many still rely on manual processes or disconnected tools, making it hard to react quickly to market shifts.

"Scaling marketplace sales requires thousands of decisions across pricing, campaigns, and promotions," said founder and chief executive officer Jakub Vraspír. "Merchantee is designed to automate those decisions and help sellers compete more effectively across multiple marketplaces."

What could go wrong? Merchantee faces a crowded e-commerce tools market and must prove its AI-driven approach delivers measurably better results than incumbents. Geographic expansion into Poland, Germany, France, the Netherlands, and Italy means adapting to diverse marketplace ecosystems and local competition — all on a relatively modest funding base.

The company also plans to add support for marketplaces like eMag, BOL, and Cdiscount, which will stretch its engineering resources further.

The signal: Reflex Capital leading this round underscores growing investor appetite for AI-native e-commerce infrastructure in Central Europe, with Czech Founders VC and Lighthouse Ventures rounding out an all-regional syndicate betting on local expertise scaling westward. Merchantee's early-growth-stage traction with major brands like Philips and SodaStream suggests the platform has moved beyond proof of concept, but its expansion into five new markets on €1.8M will be a sharp test of capital efficiency in a segment where marketplace fragmentation cuts both ways — creating demand for multi-platform tools while multiplying the integration burden.
