Companisto raises millions from the crowd
The Berlin-based crowdinvesting platform successfully concludes its own funding round.
The crowdfunding hype in Germany is long over, and the small market is in an extended consolidation phase. Nevertheless, some platforms remain. One of these is Companisto in Berlin. The company recently even successfully completed a crowdfunding round. According to its own figures, more than 1,500 people invested five million euros in the company.
Through the Companisto platform and its own "Business Angel Club," investors invest equity stakes in startups. According to the company, it placed €49 million in 2025. This made Companisto one of the largest equity crowdfunding platforms in the EU in 2025, according to the European Community Capital Landscape (ECCL) initiative. The €8 million funding round for Berlin-based Diamontech AG last year was the largest single equity crowdfunding round in the EU.
Companisto itself generated revenue of €9.5 million and an annual profit before interest and taxes of €2 million in 2025. In the first quarter, with a placement volume of €14.7 million, sales revenue amounted to €3 million, resulting in a pre-tax profit of €1 million, according to the company.
