Kabloie raises €200K from Antler for short-form audio app

What's the deal? KabloieDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, a startup building what it calls the first short-form audio app, has raised €200K in its first investment round from Antler. The app aims to deliver a personalised feed of short stories, news, insights, jokes, fun facts, and podcast highlights — all capped at three minutes.

The company was founded in 2025 by Antonio and Tobías, who met while studying Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Lund University in Sweden.

Why now? Short-form content has dominated video through TikTok and Instagram Reels, but audio has yet to get its equivalent. Kabloie is betting that listeners want bite-sized audio for "in-between moments" — commutes, walks, and waiting rooms — where screens aren't ideal.

What could go wrong? The short-form audio space is largely unproven. Building a content supply pipeline — whether through creators, publishers, or AI — will be critical, and competing for attention against established podcast platforms and music apps is no small feat.

At €200K, Kabloie is still in very early stages and will need to demonstrate traction quickly to secure follow-on funding.

The signal: Antler's backing of Kabloie fits a broader pattern of investors probing whether short-form logic can be applied beyond video to other media formats. With the app targeting screen-free "in-between moments," the thesis hinges on whether audio can sustain the same snackable engagement loop that propelled TikTok — a bet that remains largely untested at scale.
