Boyne Capital launches commercial cleaning platform with H&B Facility Services deal
What's the deal? Boyne Capital, a Florida-based private equity firm, has acquired H&B Facility Services to serve as the foundation for a new commercial cleaning and facility services platform. H&B, headquartered in Lake Hiawatha, NJ, has more than 30 years of experience serving customers in distribution, logistics, manufacturing, and education.
Boyne plans to use H&B as a launchpad for a buy-and-build strategy — partnering with regional operators, expanding geographically, and investing in technology and operations. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Why now? Commercial cleaning and facility services remains a highly fragmented sector, ripe for consolidation. Boyne, founded in 2006, has a track record of building scaled platforms in fragmented service industries, and this deal fits squarely into that playbook.

What could go wrong? Roll-up strategies in fragmented industries carry familiar risks: integrating diverse regional operators, maintaining service quality at scale, and avoiding the margin compression that often accompanies rapid acquisition. Cleaning services also face persistent labour challenges, including high turnover and rising wages.
The signal: This deal reflects a broader PE trend of targeting essential but unglamorous service businesses — sectors with steady demand, low cyclicality, and fragmentation that rewards disciplined acquirers. Commercial cleaning in particular has seen heightened investor interest since the pandemic raised the bar for facility hygiene standards.
H&B founder Hani Adawi said the partnership gives the company "the resources to strengthen" its support for employees and customers alike. For Boyne, the bet is that operational infrastructure and scale can turn a patchwork industry into a market leader.
