Curated Events acquires Casa de Perrin to consolidate luxury event rentals

What's the deal? Curated EventsDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, a national luxury event services company headquartered in Charleston, South Carolina, has acquired Casa de PerrinDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, the Los Angeles-based tabletop curation and design house known as one of the most influential brands in American event design.

The deal adds Casa de Perrin's collection of more than 635,000 custom tabletop pieces — spanning rare vintage finds, bespoke commissions, and luxury makers — to Curated Events' growing portfolio, which already includes Skyline Tent Company, See-Hear Productions, and Curated Linen Collection.

Casa de Perrin was founded in 2012 by Diana and Josh Perrin, who turned tabletop design from a supporting detail into a defining element of high-end events. The company built its reputation through backgrounds in food styling, photography, and artistic direction.

Why now? The US luxury event industry, valued at roughly $10B, remains heavily fragmented. Clients at the top of the market still assemble events piece by piece — tents from one vendor, linens from another, tabletop from a third. Curated Events is betting that a single integrated platform can deliver better design continuity and simpler logistics.

Generational shifts are also driving the timing. David Williams, chairman of Curated Events, noted that Gen Z now represents a rapidly growing share of the high-end market — a generation raised on visual platforms with high aesthetic expectations.

What could go wrong? Roll-up strategies in fragmented industries often stumble on integration. Each acquired brand carries its own identity, client relationships, and creative culture. Folding them into shared infrastructure without diluting what made them distinctive is the central risk.

Luxury clients are also notoriously sensitive to any perception of commoditisation. If the consolidation feels more corporate than curated, it could undermine the very cachet that makes these brands valuable.

The signal: Curated Events' roll-up of founder-led brands like Casa de Perrin — an early-growth company being absorbed into a mature platform — mirrors consolidation playbooks that have reshaped other fragmented creative industries. In a $10 billion US luxury events market with no dominant integrated player, the strategy bets that operational scale can coexist with artisanal identity, a tension that will define whether platform models can truly take hold in high-touch, design-driven sectors.
