Winsupply expands Texas footprint with Rural Pipe & Supply acquisition

Rural Pipe & Supply was founded in 1999 by Tommy and Amanda Shaver, who will both stay on in leadership roles. The company supplies PVC and HDPE pressure pipe, sewer pipe and fittings, irrigation pipe, and cast iron products to contractors, municipalities, and residential customers.

Why now? This is Winsupply's second acquisition of its fiscal year 2027, following the purchase of Central Corp. in Wisconsin in February. The company is clearly on a deliberate expansion push.

"This acquisition is a strategic move that expands our presence in the dynamic Texas waterworks market," said Jeff Dice, president of Winsupply Inc. He called it "an excellent addition that accelerates growth and allows us to pick up market share in this critical geography."

The signal: Winsupply, classified as a mature-stage company on Dealroom, is steadily absorbing early-growth regional distributors like Rural Pipe & Supply to deepen its geographic coverage — two acquisitions in the current fiscal year alone suggest a systematic roll-up strategy in speciality construction supply. Texas's booming infrastructure and population growth make waterworks distribution a particularly compelling consolidation target, and Winsupply's decentralised model gives it a built-in pitch to family founders seeking an exit without losing operational identity.
