Norres Baggerman Group acquires Flexible Technologies to expand in North America

Norres Baggerman Group, a portfolio company of Swedish investment firm Nalka, has agreed to acquire Flexible Technologies, a specialist manufacturer of flexible hose and ducting products. The deal gives Norres Baggerman a stronger foothold in the North American market and adds new technical capabilities.
Flexible Technologies makes flexible hose and ducting for the medical, industrial, and construction sectors. It operates through three businesses: Hitech Duravent, Hi-Tech Medical, and Flexschlauch Produktions GmbH. The group employs roughly 200 people across facilities in Abbeville, South Carolina and Lübeck, Germany.
"We are very impressed with what Flexible Technologies has built so far, with each unit providing cutting-edge performance and specialist competence," said Thomas Gela, chief executive officer of Norres Baggerman Group. "This will be an important addition to the Norres Baggerman Group, strengthening our North American position."
Why now? The acquisition fits into Norres Baggerman's broader growth strategy to become a global leader in engineered transfer solutions. Adding Flexible Technologies creates a complementary platform with wider market access and deeper manufacturing expertise — particularly in North America, where the acquirer had a thinner presence.
