EyeTi acquires sustainable IT lifecycle specialist SiSo after 35 years under Greendelta
What's the deal? Dutch investment firm EyeTi has acquired the shares of SiSo Computers B.V. from Greendelta Corporate Investments. The deal closed on May 7. SiSo specialises in sustainable IT lifecycle management, offering organisations end-to-end solutions for IT equipment — from procurement and implementation to reuse and responsible disposal.
SiSo, which has been operating for 35 years, focuses on extending the lifespan of IT hardware and promoting high-quality reuse. EyeTi said the acquisition fits its strategy of investing in leading IT companies with a strong position in sustainable and circular IT.
Why now? Circular IT is gaining traction as organisations face pressure to reduce electronic waste and meet sustainability targets. EyeTi is positioning itself to capitalise on this shift by building a portfolio of companies in the space.
What could go wrong? Acquisitions of niche specialists always carry integration risk. EyeTi has promised that SiSo's teams, client contacts, and independent way of working will remain unchanged. The current management team — led by general director Rolf Tappermann and director of remarketing Michiel Bouwens — stays in place.
