Integritis doubles turnover with JS-IG acquisition
What's the deal? Integritis, a business support systems firm based in Long Eaton near Nottingham, has acquired JS Information Governance (JS-IG), a Halifax-based data protection and regulatory consultancy. The deal doubles Integritis' turnover and brings four staff — including JS-IG co-founder Mark Povey — into the business.
Povey will serve as service and commercial director. He will also oversee the Integritis Foundation, which invests a share of profits into resettlement, training, and long-term consultancy for ex-military personnel.
Integritis covers operations management, finance control, and data protection. JS-IG adds specialisms in data subject access requests, freedom of information, and outsourced data protection officer support.
Why now? Co-founder Kieran Morgan-McGeehan called the acquisition "a strategic acceleration on every front," saying it deepens Integritis' data protection, information governance, and regulatory capability. For Povey, an army veteran, the move provides a larger platform for the Foundation work he describes as personal.
"This isn't a deal driven by numbers; it's driven by trust, alignment of values and a sense I now have the right partners to lighten the load and take on the work I care most about," Povey said.
The signal: The deal reflects a broader pattern of small UK consultancies consolidating to build scale and broaden service offerings — particularly in data protection and governance, where regulatory demand keeps growing. For Integritis, combining commercial expansion with a social mission tied to veterans' support gives the enlarged firm a distinctive positioning in a crowded market.
