Affiverse Media acquired by Ace Alliance, part of Revpanda Group

What's the deal? Affiverse Media, a leading digital publication covering affiliate and performance marketing, has been acquired by Ace Alliance, part of the Revpanda Group. The deal, announced last week, hands one of the industry's most recognised independent media platforms to a company with deep expertise in building and scaling digital media properties.

Affiverse was launched in 2021 by Lee-Ann Johnstone with a simple mission: help the world do affiliate marketing better. It has since grown to more than 25,000 subscribers, nearly one million podcast downloads, and roughly 65,000 monthly visitors.

Why now? Demand for credible, practitioner-focused content in affiliate marketing continues to rise. Revpanda, through its Ace Alliance entity, is making a strategic push into performance marketing media — and Affiverse gives it an established brand and engaged audience to build on.

"At Ace Alliance, our ambition is to become the definitive community for affiliate marketing professionals worldwide, and Affiverse Media is the perfect cornerstone for that vision," said Faruk Aydin, managing director of Ace Alliance.

What could go wrong? Acquisitions of independent media brands always carry the risk of alienating loyal audiences. Affiverse built its reputation on editorial independence and community trust — qualities that can erode quickly under new ownership if commercial priorities shift the editorial tone.

Johnstone acknowledged as much, saying she was "proud to be handing over the reins to a team that truly understands and values the integrity we've built around the Affiverse brand."

The signal: The deal reflects a broader trend of media consolidation in niche B2B verticals. As affiliate marketing matures as an industry, the value of trusted editorial platforms — ones with built-in communities — is increasing. Expect more acquisitions like this as larger groups look to buy credibility rather than build it from scratch.
