Moovi acquires Descomplicando Linguagens to build Brazil's largest SAP training platform

What's the deal? MooviDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, an SAP training company owned by Brazilian consultancy NumenDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, has acquired Descomplicando LinguagensDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, a tech education hub focused on SAP programming. The deal brings over 2,000 students and a full course catalogue under Moovi's roof, creating what it calls the largest technical learning track in the SAP sector.

Descomplicando Linguagens founder Gabriel Faria joins Moovi as a partner. The combined entity will operate under the Moovi brand, with the acquired courses folded into a new division called MooviTech.

Why now? Both companies occupy the same niche — SAP technical education — but from complementary angles. Moovi, active since 2018, has built up more than 1,500 hours of recorded classes and over 100 B2B partners for corporate training. Descomplicando Linguagens, founded in 2015, focuses on practical, accessible content for individual learners, covering everything from junior ABAP programming to advanced modules like SAP Fiori Elements.

Parent company Numen, a SAP Gold Partner named best SAP consultancy in 2025, is pushing to expand internationally and deepen its AI capabilities within the SAP ecosystem. The acquisition accelerates both goals.

What could go wrong? Merging two education platforms with overlapping content risks confusing or alienating existing students. Integrating course catalogues, subscription models, and teaching styles is rarely seamless — especially when one brand disappears entirely.

The SAP training market is also niche. Scaling internationally while adding AI-focused courses will require significant investment in content and localisation beyond Brazil's Portuguese-speaking market.

The signal: Both Moovi and Descomplicando Linguagens sit at the early growth stage, according to Dealroom, while parent company Numen is already at late growth — suggesting the consultancy is using acquisitions to fast-track its education arm's maturity rather than building organically. In a niche where individual platforms struggle to scale alone, consolidation under a larger, well-capitalised SAP partner could set a template for how specialist edtech verticals mature across Latin America.
