Lemhi launches AI Transformation-as-a-Service platform for MSPs with pre-seed round
What's the deal? Lemhi has launched out of stealth with an AI Transformation-as-a-Service platform designed specifically for managed service providers (MSPs). Founded by 17-year channel veteran John Harden, Lemhi aims to help MSPs package AI into structured, recurring-revenue services — rather than the one-off projects and consulting hours that dominate today.
Its first product, Lemhi Engage, will be available to design partners starting in June 2026 at Pax8 Beyond. Engage standardises AI engagements across an MSP's customer base, producing workforce readiness scores, ROI plans, Microsoft 365 tenant assessments, and phased rollout roadmaps with governance and success metrics.
Why now? Enterprise demand for AI is surging, but MSPs lack a repeatable model for selling, delivering, and measuring it the way they already manage cybersecurity or IT infrastructure. Most AI work still lands as pilots or advisory hours that don't translate into predictable revenue.
"AI is next, and this time the tools are already in our customers' hands," Harden said. "That makes it an operating model problem, not an AI tools problem."
What could go wrong? Lemhi is entering a crowded AI services conversation at the pre-seed stage, competing for MSP attention against established platform vendors that are adding their own AI features. Convincing MSPs to adopt yet another platform — and restructure how they sell AI — is a heavy lift, especially when many are still figuring out their basic AI strategy.
The company is onboarding select cohorts of MSPs in 2026, meaning traction data is still thin.
The signal: Lemhi reflects a broader shift in how the channel thinks about AI — moving from tool adoption to service delivery. The fact that investors and accelerators are backing this thesis suggests growing conviction that the real bottleneck isn't AI technology itself, but the business model around it.
"There's no durable business model behind it yet," said Chris DayDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, founder and chairman of Top Down Ventures. "Lemhi is one of the first software platforms we've seen that turns this into a structured, repeatable service MSPs can actually scale."
