Gifting platform Zuvees raises $1.6M in ongoing Series A from IvyCap Ventures

What's the deal? Zuvees, a premium gifting platform, has raised US$2.04M (roughly $1.6M) from IvyCap VenturesDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → as part of an ongoing Series A round. Total funding has now reached US$4.07M (around $3.3M).

Founded by Vijaykumar Ghadge and Abhishek Daiya, Zuvees combines curated products, AI-driven personalisation, and fulfilment capabilities to deliver gifting experiences across borders. It serves customers in more than 50 countries.

The fresh capital will go toward expanding operations, improving its AI recommendation engine, strengthening supply chain infrastructure, and building out CRM capabilities.

Why now? Zuvees launched commercial operations in the UAE in early 2025 and claims an annualised revenue run rate of over $3M. A significant share of its orders comes from international customers sending gifts across borders — a use case that's growing as global diaspora communities seek reliable cross-border gifting options.

What could go wrong? Cross-border gifting is operationally complex. Customs, delivery reliability, and product quality vary wildly by market. Zuvees says it addresses these with features like video approval before dispatch and a customer satisfaction policy, but scaling that across 50-plus countries will test its logistics and support infrastructure.

The gifting market is also fiercely competitive, with established players and local incumbents in every geography.

The signal: AI-powered personalisation is becoming table stakes in e-commerce, and gifting — long plagued by generic options and unreliable delivery — is a natural fit. Zuvees is betting that combining curation with technology and fulfilment can carve out a defensible niche in a fragmented global market. Its early traction in the UAE suggests cross-border gifting, particularly among expatriate communities, may be an underserved segment worth watching.
