The round includes a £550,000 Innovate UKDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → investor partnership grant alongside investment from SFC CapitalDealroom has a profile for this one. The funds will let Gnosis Health complete NHS pilots in the North East, grow its engineering team, and prepare MAXine for commercial launch.

MAXine integrates data from wearables, patient-reported outcomes, and behavioural patterns to give patients and clinicians real-time insights. It offers continuous, adaptive monitoring aimed at improving self-management and care team communication.

Why now? Parkinson's affects more than 153,000 people in the UK, yet patients typically receive just 30 minutes of clinician time per year. Symptoms fluctuate constantly, but current approaches rely on questionnaires or infrequent clinical observation — leaving major gaps in care.

MAXine aims to fill that gap by capturing symptom changes throughout the day and turning them into actionable insights for both patients and their doctors.

What could go wrong? Healthtech spinouts face well-documented hurdles: slow NHS adoption cycles, complex regulatory requirements, and the challenge of proving clinical value at scale. Gnosis Health still needs to convert pilot results into a viable commercial product — no small task in a healthcare system under intense resource pressure.

The signal: Northstar Ventures and SFC Capital both specialise in backing early-stage UK companies, and pairing their investment with an Innovate UK partnership grant gives Gnosis Health a blend of public validation and private capital that can help de-risk NHS adoption. With the company already at the "early growth" stage according to Dealroom, converting live North East NHS pilots into a repeatable commercial model will be the critical next milestone for a market where chronic disease remote monitoring is drawing increasing attention.
