Jianlian Tech raises new round for high-end chip socket connectors

What's the deal? Jianlian Tech (迦连科技), a Chinese developer and manufacturer of high-end socket connectors, has closed a new funding round. The company specialises in LGA (Land Grid Array) sockets — critical components that connect large chips such as CPUs, GPUs, NPUs, AI chips, and switch chips to circuit boards.

Its connectors are used in personal computers, data centres, supercomputers, and network switches. Jianlian Tech says it offers superior transmission speeds, signal integrity, thermal management, and higher yield rates compared to alternatives.
