Alkelux secures investment from CDP Venture Capital, Eatable Adventures, and FoodTech Accelerator for sustainable packaging

What's the deal? Alkelux, a deeptech startup based in Sassari, Italy, has secured a capital injection from Foodtech Accelerator — an investment vehicle established by CDP Venture Capital SGR — and Eatable Adventures, alongside Accelera Ventures. Banco di Sardegna and La Gemma Venture, a Cuneo-based accelerator and investment fund, also participated in the round.

Alkelux develops sustainable materials for food packaging. The new resources will support its technological development and its mission to provide eco-friendly solutions for the food industry.

Why now? The investment was made as part of the second batch of FoodSeed, the acceleration programme within CDP Venture Capital SGR's National Accelerator Network. The programme is designed to back early-stage foodtech startups in Italy, giving Alkelux a structured launchpad for growth.
